NEWS

Canadian Association of Movers Warns Public about Brand Hijackings (pdf) - January 24, 2017. ALERT Mover Brand Hijackings: Brand hijackings are on the rise. Rogue movers are putting reputable moving company brand names in their Google listings and ads. If this happens to your company, please make sure you file a Google trademark complaint. After two complaints, the mover will no longer be able to do paid ads or can be black-listed from Google altogether. It takes a little time to fill out the trademark complaint, but Google legal will acknowledge, investigate and respond back to you usually within 1-2 weeks. It may not stop the rogue movers, but it will slow them down.
