The 2010 Annual Conference is scheduled for November 14 to 16, 2010, in Toronto. Don’t miss this opportunity to get the latest business information, get reacquainted with old friends and competitors, and see our supplier members’ newest products and services.
Don’t miss it! Come for all the right reasons:
The deadline for CAM’s special rate at the Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel is October 15th. Register now to be eligible for the special rate. And while you are registering at the hotel, register with CAM for the conference.
The trade show at the conference will have the largest number of exhibitors ever. Come and see why their products and services are so well received in the moving industry.
Members are now able to validate themselves to consumers as Certified Canadian Movers through their Blackberrys and iPhones. CAM has implemented a webpage that members can access through handheld devices. You and your sales staff can show consumers that your company is certified through the Canadian Association of Movers. Go to www.mover.net/search (English) or www.mover.net/trouver (French) and search for your company (enter a few letters of your company name and add the city name if your name is not unique) and show your prospective customer that you are certified. Let your sales staff know about this.
Certification helps to close sales!
CAM is working to increase the profile of its international members and in turn the value of their memberships.
Canada Company hosted a bicycle tour from Toronto to Montreal in support of the Canada Company Scholarship Fund to aid the children of Canada’s armed forces. Participants from the Canadian moving industry included Kevin Devereux of North American Van Lines (1st on right), Joe Gagnon of Westmount Moving (7th from left, back row), Rob Grohn of SIRVA and Scott Mackie of Mackie Moving Systems. The group raised over $75,000 for the scholarship fund.
