CAM’S NATIONAL OFFICE HAS MOVED

CAM’s national office has moved. It’s one block north of our previous location. Our new postal address is 2200 Sherobee Road, Suite 404, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada L5A 3Y3

Our phone, fax and email information remains unchanged.

Please ensure that you update our address in ALL your records. We just received mail addressed to CAM at the address we left in 2001.

SUCCESS AND SUCCESSION – CAM’s 2007 ANNUAL CONFERENCE

We need your feedback. We had minimal returns of the speaker/program evaluation forms at the conference. What verbal responses we received indicated that the speakers and the content were excellent.

In order to deliver future conferences with the same or better value, we need a little more feedback from you. Would you please provide us with answers to the following questions?

4. What could we do differently to improve your experience at the conference?

STATISTICS FOR 2007

CAM’s national office answers a great number of calls in the course of a year.
These are down by about 4% from 2006.

• Referrals (Who is reputable mover that I can move with?): 1,763
• Inquiries (Is ABC Moving & Storage reputable?): 1,545
• Complaints: 195

And our website was very active in 2007 with 168,000 visits and 45,000 visitors, up 18% from 2006. These statistics will be provided to you quarterly.

EMPLOYMENT

Over the last several months, CAM has been establishing an online listing of people interested in working in the moving industry. The listing is maintained in a database on our website.

We will begin our recruitment efforts again in late February or early March to ensure that you have some availability of part-time and full-time workers for the summer moving season.
