Looking for part-time or full-time drivers, helpers, or warehouse and administrative staff? CAM has posted a list of over 500 applications to our website. This may be your source of immediate help or for next summer’s busy season. There are some experienced movers in the listings, students looking for work, and some drivers with air-brake endorsements for straight trucks and tractor trailers. They are from across Canada in the following postal codes (first two characters only):

It’s at the printers now. Watch for your copy in the mail. It contains your listing and these articles in English and French:

  • Building relationships with moving-industry suppliers

  • A member profile
  • The importance of planning for succession

Last Thursday, a Toast and Roast was held for Doug Auld, president of Atlas Van Lines in Canada, to wish him well in retirement. Over 100 members of the moving community came out to honour Doug and his accomplishments during his time as president. He was roasted in good humour by colleagues, associates and competitors, including Anne Martin of United Van Lines and John Skinner of Sirva Canada. Doug reminisced and graciously accepted everyone’s good wishes. We wish Doug well in retirement.
