Mover’s Edge, April, 2011

The Canadian Mover Magazine

Watch for your copy of the Spring 2011 issue of The Canadian Mover at the end of April.

We can still make changes to your listing but we need to know this week. Check your listing in the Fall 2010 issue or online. Let us know of any changes.

Website Renewal

CAM’s website will be undergoing a redesign over the next few months. The redesign will include a new look as well as a move-referral system. The consumer area will be the first part scheduled for redesign.

Any input you might have on look or content would be valuable.

Please link your website to www.mover.net. The more traffic the site gets, the more referrals it will generate. Watch for more information.

Press Releases

CAM’s Marketing and Internet committee has begun a scheduled series of press releases over the next three months. The objective of the program is to make consumers aware of the importance of finding a reputable, professional mover (i.e., a CAM member). You can see the press releases on our website.

Update to CAM’s Mover Certification

CAM’s board of directors has approved a new system for validating movers under its Certified Canadian Mover Program. If you are not already certified, contact CAM’s national office and we will make the arrangements. If you are not a member, join CAM and get certified!
